02Your event

The theatre is yours for the whole day, 11am to 11pm. We don't rent by the hour, and Sundays and Tuesdays aren't available. If your event spans more than one day, like a Friday and Saturday run, add each date here and each is its own full day. Need the space the day before just to rehearse or set up? That's the Rehearsal or setup day add-on further down, at half the rate.

Pick a date to see the rental fee. It changes with the day of the week and the season.

Alcohol can only be served by a licensed, insured bartending service. We're happy to recommend a few.

Our team looks after the building; a coordinator looks after your event. We strongly recommend one.

Your rental runs 11am to 11pm. Guests out by 10pm; the last hour is for cleanup and load-out.

03The space

Included at no cost. Before your event we'll map a floor plan together, and our team sets the tables and chairs to match before your rental begins and clears them after. Linens, florals, signage, and tabletop details are yours to bring in during your window.

Using a rental company instead? Drop-off and pick-up must happen inside your rental window; we can't hold or store items before or after. Check with our team ahead of time so it fits our policies, or to work out an alternative.

Catering and bar are booked separately through licensed vendors. We'll share our preferred list.

04Add-ons

Generating an estimate doesn't hold your date or commit you to anything.

This is an estimate only. It is not a quote, not a reservation, and does not give you the right to rent the space. No date is held and no rental exists until Nippon Kan Theatre issues a written proposal, both parties sign the rental agreement, and payment is received.
